COST OF LIVING:
1. Lurpak & Radiator
Necessities are the new luxuries.
ACCESS TO GREEN SPACES:
2. Patterns on Suspension bridge over the River Tummel
During Lockdown, when travel restricted, I really missed going back to Pitlochry, where my husband and I met (in 1977) and used to live. The suspension bridge had loads of padlocks, inscribed by couples on it, and I wanted to add one for our Anniversary but the Council have to come and cut them off so I took this photo instead.
3. Enchanted Forest bridge, Pitlochry
This Autumn light show (we've gone up since started) was cancelled due to lockdown. Keep moving towards the light
4. Door to my garden
I felt very lucky to have a garden, when we were confined to home, as well as a beach and park for exercise as aware some, outwith Argyll and Bute, were not as fortunate.
WILD SWIMMING:
4. My shadow before swimming in Loch Lomond
5. Loch Lomond looking like an abstract painting before swimming
6. Loch Faskally
7. St Andrews beach
When the Rules said we couldn't go wild swimming I felt very confined as it's good for my mental as well as physical health. It's free so I felt it should never have been restricted for those who are responsible. Cycling was permitted and open water swimming is similarly solitary exercise and potentially as risky!
